Chief Budget Analyst at State Audit Office of Georgia

Nino Pruidze has a diverse work experience starting in 2013 at the State Audit Office of Georgia. Nino worked there for six years, starting as a Budget Analyst and eventually progressing to the role of Senior Budget Analyst. In this role, they focused on Public Finances Management Issues, including State Budget Analysis, Performance Audit, and Integrity Assessment in the Public Sector. Nino also prepared Better Practice Guidelines and Publications. In 2017, Nino Pruidze became a Visiting Lecturer at East European University and has been serving in this role until April 2022. Additionally, they worked as a Visiting Lecturer at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University from 2014 to 2017 and at the University of Georgia in 2016. In February 2022, Nino Pruidze took on the position of Chief Budget Analyst at the State Audit Office of Georgia.

Nino Pruidze completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Akaki Tsereteli State University in the years 2007 to 2011. Nino then went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the International School of Economics at Tbilisi State University from 2011 to 2013.

The SAO represents the modern, independent and successful audit institution with the highest professional standards, the interference in the activity of which is prohibited by the law. With its work SAO supports the parliament in overseeing the activities of the government and significantly contributes to the Parliamentary oversight over the government.
