Cindy Hunter

Cindy Hunter serves as the Director of Continuing & Community Education at the State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota since September 2005, overseeing professional development, personal enrichment, motorcycle safety classes, and the Kids' Summer Spectrum program across three campuses. Previously, Cindy was the Director of the Campbell County Campus at Roane State Community College from June 1990 to September 2005, where responsibilities included opening the campus, developing semester schedules, recruiting instructors and students, and collaborating with local businesses for training initiatives. Cindy Hunter holds a Ph.D. in Leadership in Higher Education from Barry University, a Master's degree in Educational Psychology and Counselor Education from Tennessee Technological University, and a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Management from Tusculum College, alongside relevant academic experience in mental health counseling.
