David Miano

David Miano is a seasoned educator and historian with a comprehensive background in teaching and administrative roles. Currently serving as a Teacher of History at the World of Antiquity Channel since July 2019, Miano also holds the position of Adjunct Instructor at the State College of Florida-Manatee-Sarasota since August 2016. Miano has been the Executive Director at Schola Antiquorum since September 2010, and previously worked as a Specialist Acquisitions Editor at Cognella from June 2012 to January 2022. Educationally, Miano obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in History from UC San Diego, where studies took place from 1999 to 2006, and holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Classical and Ancient Studies from the University at Buffalo. Miano's extensive teaching experience includes roles at UC San Diego, San Diego Mesa College, and the University of San Diego, spanning over a decade.
