Bhavin Patel

Bhavin Patel has over 10 years of experience in network engineering and architecture. Bhavin is currently working as a Principal Network Architect at the State Compensation Insurance Fund, where they design, implements, and supports the network infrastructure for multiple sites. Bhavin is also responsible for the migration of MPLS network to Cisco Viptela SD-WAN design and manages the infrastructure using Cisco Prime and ISE. Prior to this, Bhavin worked as a Network Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where they were involved in building and maintaining network and networking devices for data center deployment. Bhavin also has experience as a Network Engineer at Microsoft, where they managed data center operations and implemented Global Data Center designs. Bhavin has worked in various other roles including Senior Network Engineer at the State of Colorado, where they designed and implemented IP/MPLS network systems, and Senior Network Engineer at Prairie Technology Group Inc., where they handled hardware and software configurations and managed cabling projects. Bhavin started their career as a Network Engineer at Sysnet Global Technologies Pvt. Ltd., where they installed and configured various network devices and services.

Bhavin Patel completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science from Gujarat University from 2007 to 2011. Bhavin also holds several additional certifications, including Cisco Enterprise Networks SDA, SDWAN and ISE Exam for System Engineers (ENSDENG) obtained in August 2020, Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Core obtained in 2020, CCIE # 55645 (Routing & Switching) obtained in 2017, VCP 6.0 obtained in 2017, RHCSA-RHEL 7 obtained in 2016, and Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) obtained in 2013.
