Shantanu Shekhawat

Shantanu Shekhawat has an extensive work history in the technology and engineering field. Shantanu started their career in 1999 as a Software Engineer at ePropose, Inc. and later worked as a Programmer/Analyst at Paramount Citrus from 2004 to 2007. Shantanu then joined Art.com as a Sr Software Engineer, where they worked for five years until 2012.

In 2012, Shantanu worked as a Manager of Development Software Applications at ADP Dealer Services for a short period. Following that, they took on the role of Acting Director of Software Development at State Compensation Insurance Fund in 2013, before being promoted to Director of Systems Engineering later that year. Shantanu held this position until 2016 when they became a Founding Member and Head of Engineering at Stitched Insights.

In 2016, Shantanu returned to State Compensation Insurance Fund as a Senior Director of Systems Engineering (Consultant). In this role, they successfully led the digital transformation of the company and oversaw the delivery of a custom Policy administration system and Guidewire Billing system. Shantanu also played a key role in scaling the teams from zero to 50.

Currently, Shantanu is working as a Cyber Security Advisor at California State University, Chico, a position they started in January 2022.

Shantanu Shekhawat completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Amravati University, from 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended Thriveni Academy from 1990 to 1994. Shantanu later pursued a Master's degree in Computers from California State University, Fresno.
