State Line Foundries is a jobbing foundry located in northern Illinois that produces a wide variety of iron castings weighing up to 2,500 lbs. We primarily produce castings to gray and ductile iron standards but also pour alloys such as austempered ductile iron, high silicon moly and customer-specific alloys. 

We combine technical expertise, vast experience, the latest technologies and structured processes to deliver quality castings on time from our two foundries, which are located about five miles apart. 

Our specialties are prototypes and low-to-medium volume production, including replacement and service parts. We work closely with our customers to solve complex problems such as:
•	Meeting time-critical delivery deadlines, 
•	Adapting previously-used production tooling for lower volume requirements, 
•	Supplying quality certification requirements with a vast array of in-house lab capabilities, 
•	Reviewing casting designs for manufacturability, and
•	Serving as a bridge production foundry for customers until their production foundry is ready.
