John Hansen

John Hansen is an experienced systems programmer and quality manager with a career spanning over two decades, primarily with Microsoft from 1996 to 2014 and currently with the State of Alaska since 2016. At Microsoft, John held multiple leadership roles as a Senior SDET Lead, managing teams that developed and tested a range of products including Windows applications, Internet Explorer, and Xbox games. Notable achievements include driving the integration of DirectX certification processes, managing significant test budgets, and delivering quality assurance for pivotal software and applications that supported high-profile product launches. At Deloitte, John contributed as a Quality Manager before taking on various programming roles within the State of Alaska, showcasing a strong proficiency in both software development and quality assurance.
