Angelique Ashby

Angelique Ashby serves as a California State Senator since December 2022 and previously held the position of Vice Mayor and Councilmember for the City of Sacramento from November 2010 to December 2022. Ashby is also the former Managing Partner of Ashby Consulting Group, LLC, specializing in the implementation of best practice social programs for populations facing barriers to success from July 2005 to January 2023. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law (1999-2003) and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of California, Davis (1997-1999).
