Digital Inclusion Manager at State of California

Aracely Hernandez, MPA, currently serves as the Digital Inclusion Manager for the State of California, beginning in July 2024. Previously, Aracely worked as a Program and Project Specialist at HACLA from February 2021 to July 2024, where responsibilities included leading digital inclusion strategies and managing technology upgrades in Los Angeles' Computer Labs. Aracely directed community schools at Promesa Boyle Heights from July 2018 to July 2020, focusing on early education, advocacy, and college readiness, while also mentoring coordinators at LAUSD partner sites. As the Program Director for Education & Workforce Training at MEND from October 2014 to February 2018, oversight of various educational programs was provided. Earlier roles included an Education Pioneers Fellowship and senior management at Power My Learning, where Aracely managed program staffing and community impact initiatives. Aracely holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from California State University, Northridge, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California.
