Aaron Franz is an experienced audit professional currently serving as an Audit Coordinator at the Florida Auditor General since September 2020. Florida Auditor General
As the State’s independent external auditor, the Auditor General provides unbiased, timely, and relevant information that the Legislature, Florida’s citizens, public entity management, and other stakeholders can use to promote government accountability and stewardship and improve government operations. We perform both financial and performance audits for all public colleges and universities, 67 district school boards, all state agencies, and other audits, as requested by the Legislature. As of October 31, 2020, our professional staff included 160 Certified Public Accountants, 15 Certified Information Systems Auditors, and 15 Certified Fraud Examiners located in 15 offices throughout the State.
