Florida Auditor General
Nathaniel Francis possesses extensive experience in information technology auditing and finance. Currently serving as an IT Auditor at the Florida Auditor General since January 2018, Nathaniel previously held the position of Associate at KPMG from July 2016 to November 2017. Prior experience includes a role as a Technology Intern at the Florida Department of Transportation in early 2015 and a Teller at ProBank - Tallahassee for four years. Nathaniel's career began with logistics in the United States Marine Corps from 2004 to 2012. Academically, Nathaniel holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Management Information Systems and Finance from Florida State University, completed between 2013 and 2015.

Florida Auditor General
As the State’s independent external auditor, the Auditor General provides unbiased, timely, and relevant information that the Legislature, Florida’s citizens, public entity management, and other stakeholders can use to promote government accountability and stewardship and improve government operations. We perform both financial and performance audits for all public colleges and universities, 67 district school boards, all state agencies, and other audits, as requested by the Legislature. As of October 31, 2020, our professional staff included 160 Certified Public Accountants, 15 Certified Information Systems Auditors, and 15 Certified Fraud Examiners located in 15 offices throughout the State.
