George Bedell has extensive legal experience, currently serving as the Attorney Supervisor for the Administrative and Civil Litigation division at The Florida Office of Financial Regulation since August 2021. Prior to this role, George worked as an Assistant Statewide Prosecutor at the Office of Statewide Prosecution from November 2017 to July 2021. George has a diverse background in private practice, having been self-employed from June 2008 to October 2017 and previously worked at George & Titus from March 2000 to February 2005, focusing on white collar criminal defense. George began a career in public service as an Assistant State Attorney in Hillsborough County, where responsibilities included serving as felony division chief from 1991 to 2000. George holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Florida State University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
