Jim Sloey

Jim Sloey has extensive experience in both technology and advocacy roles. Currently serving as the Guardian ad Litem for the Fifth Judicial Circuit in Florida, Jim has previously held similar positions in the Twentieth Judicial Circuit. In the technology sector, Jim has worked as an Information Technology Operations Consultant at Conduent since January 2017 and has a long history with Xerox, advancing through various technical roles from Senior Systems Engineer to NAIC Infrastructure Manager over 17 years. Jim is also a certified firearms instructor with teaching roles through the US Concealed Carry Association and NRA. Educational accomplishments include certifications in Guardian ad Litem advocacy and Civilian Trauma Care, along with multiple degrees from institutions including SUNY Empire State College and Cornell University, enhancing expertise in both legal and technical fields.
