Erin Calhoun

Erin Calhoun has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. From 2009 to 2014, they worked at Mountain States Health Alliance as an Admitting Team Leader. In this role, they led a team of fifteen employees, conducted training sessions, managed daily deposits, ensured quality assurance, and handled patient registrations.

Since 2014, Erin has been employed at State of Franklin Healthcare Associates. Erin initially worked as a Patient Service Representative, where they managed medical records, ensured compliance with HIPAA laws, and indexed electronic medical records. Currently, they serve as the Office Supervisor, overseeing 10 direct report employees and around 35 indirect employees. Erin is responsible for the management of one diagnostic imaging center and two comprehensive breast centers, which offer various services such as CT, MRI, US (general, vascular, and breast), and x-ray.

Erin Calhoun completed their education in healthcare management at Tusculum University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from 2017 to 2019. Prior to their time at Tusculum University, Erin attended Northeast State Community College from an unspecified start year to 2013. At Northeast State Community College, they earned an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, focusing on general studies. In addition to their formal education, Erin has obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association in September 2009, Certified Phlebotomist from the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) in April 2013, and Certified Healthcare Access Associate from the National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM) in October 2012.
