Akshay Gangavalli is a seasoned quantitative analyst with extensive experience in financial analysis and data analytics. Currently employed by the State of Georgia as a Quantitative Analyst since April 2022, Akshay previously served as the Head Teaching Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where responsibilities included leading a team of 25 Teaching Assistants and teaching a large-scale course in data analytics. Akshay has held positions as a Quantitative Analyst at Morningstar and as a Quantitative Portfolio Management Intern at NISA Investment Advisors, where proficiency in machine learning and trading strategies was demonstrated.
