Funmi Adesesan, Ph.D., PMP®, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and technology solutions within the State of Georgia's Office of Information Technology. Since April 2007, Funmi has held various positions, including Manager of the Project Management Office, Senior Information Technology Project Manager, and IT Project Manager/Business Analyst, focusing on designing and implementing technology solutions for the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. Prior to this role, Funmi worked as a Planning & Policy Development Specialist and NEPA Transportation Planner, managing transportation projects and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Earlier experience includes a role as an Underwriter Associate at Indymac Bank. Funmi's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies, a Master of Science in Educational Research, and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Information Systems, complemented by an Associate of Science in Computer Science.
