Rebecca Smith MS.ED., CPHIMS is an experienced Training Development Specialist Supervisor and Learning and Development Manager with the State of Georgia since September 2018. With a strong background in adult education, Rebecca has developed, conducted, and managed various training environments using the ADDIE model to address skill gaps. As an external consultant since May 2010, Rebecca has worked on business development and training, highlighted by a role as Community Outreach Manager at XLHealth/United Healthcare, where Rebecca designed and delivered training while collaborating with statewide partners. Prior experience includes serving as a Diabetes Educator and Program Manager for the Georgia Medical Care Foundation and a Provider Field Representative at ACS. Rebecca holds a Master of Science in Adult Education from Walden University and a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications from Jackson State University, along with additional certifications in Health Information Technology.
