Shawnzia Thomas

Shawnzia Thomas, MPA has a diverse work experience in various roles within the state of Georgia. From 2008 to 2011, they served as a Supervisor at the State of Georgia - Governor's Office of Customer Service. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Call Center Manager at the Georgia Secretary of State. In 2013, they became the Director of Corporations at the Georgia Secretary of State, a role they held until 2021. In 2019, they served as the Executive Director of The Georgia Commission on Equal Opportunity and the Assistant Deputy Commissioner at the Georgia Department of Human Services. Currently, they are working as the CIO Georgia and Executive Director of GTA at the State of Georgia.

Shawnzia Thomas is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree at the University of West Georgia.
