Eric Hughes

Eric Hughes, MPA, MS, has extensive experience in juvenile justice and child welfare within the State of Illinois, holding positions such as Juvenile Justice Specialist and Child Welfare Specialist since November 2016. Prior experience includes serving as a Substitute Teacher for the Little Rock School District from 2011 to 2015, where responsibilities included managing classroom activities and grading assessments. In addition, Eric worked as an Office Supervisor for Jackson Hewitt Tax Service, handling tax returns and store operations from 2011 to 2012. Prior roles also include Deputy Sheriff at the Pulaski County Detention Center and Electrical Engineer in the US Navy, where technical and operational skills were developed. Eric holds a Master of Public Administration from Webster University and a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration from the University of Phoenix.
