Currently serving as the Administrator of the Illinois Gaming Board, appointed by Governor JB Pritzker, Fruchter oversees the state's gambling industry and leads a skilled team in regulatory enforcement. Prior to this role, Fruchter worked as Senior Counsel for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, focusing on securities law violations such as insider trading and market manipulation. Fruchter has also held litigation partner positions at Honigman LLP and Schopf & Weiss LLP, specializing in business litigation and legal disputes. Additionally, Fruchter has experience in public policy advocacy from roles at Feeding America and the United States Senate. Fruchter holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago Law School and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Public Policy from Michigan State University.
