Sam Vanderveen

Sam VanderVeen currently serves as a Budget Division Field Representative with the State of Indiana's Department of Local Government Finance since July 2021. Prior experience includes various roles at DePauw University, such as Intern and Admission Ambassador, where responsibilities included engaging with prospective students and leading ambassador training. Sam also worked as a Program Specialist for the First-Year Experience Program, supervising upperclass mentors and assisting new students, while holding the position of Vice President of Student Life within the DePauw Student Government, managing funding for student organizations. Additional leadership roles include Vice President of Administration for Delta Upsilon International Fraternity and Director of Philanthropy and Community Service. Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Mathematics, and Spanish from DePauw University and is pursuing a Master of Public Affairs in Public Financial Administration at the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
