Steve Aldrich

Steve Aldrich, PhD, GISP, currently serves as the Deputy Geographic Information Officer - Programs and Outreach and GIS Technical Specialist for the State of Indiana, contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of geospatial data infrastructure. Previously, Steve held multiple roles at Indiana State University, including Professor and Associate Professor of Geography, where responsibilities included teaching Environmental Science and Geographic Information Systems, and managing ArcGIS licenses and installations. Additionally, during tenure at Michigan State University, Steve functioned as a Research Assistant, focusing on the analysis of spatial and tabular data. Academic credentials include a PhD in Geography and an MA in Geography from Michigan State University, as well as a BA in Geography from Clark University.
