Matt Dunlap

Matt Dunlap is a seasoned public servant and administrator in the State of Maine, currently serving as the 49th Secretary of State, a role that includes oversight of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, Bureau of Corporations, Elections and Commissions, and State Archives. Previously held the position of Maine State Auditor and has extensive experience in legislative collaboration and issue resolution. As Executive Director of the Sportsman's Alliance of Maine, Matt focused on conservation and community engagement. Additionally, experience includes a candidacy for the Democratic nomination for Maine's U.S. Senate and various roles in education and food service. Matt holds a Master of Arts in English Literature and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Maine.
