Reginald Parson

Reginald Parson, J.D., MPA, serves as a Board Trustee for Marian University of Fond du Lac and holds the position of Deputy Director for the Maine Paid and Family Medical Leave Program, along with serving as Assistant to the Commissioner of Labor at the Maine Department of Labor. Appointed by Governor Mills, Parson is a member of the Permanent Commission on the Status of Racial, Indigenous and Maine Tribal Populations, representing the youth sector. Previous roles include working as a Legislative Aide and Senior Legislative Aide/Policy Analyst in the Maine House of Representatives and serving as a Board Member and Corporator with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Maine. In local governance, Parson has held various leadership roles in the Civil Service Commission for the City of Portland, Maine. Parson holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law, a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh, and a Bachelor of Science in Homeland Security from Marian University, with ongoing education at Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education.
