Drake Johnson

Drake Johnson is an experienced policy professional currently serving as a Policy Assistant in the Office of the Governor for the State of Maryland since June 2023. Prior experience includes positions as a Finance Assistant and Campaign Fellow with Wes Moore For Maryland Governor, along with an internship at the Black Economic Alliance. Significant contributions have been made as a Communications and Implementation Fellow for COVID Safe Paths, focusing on outreach and information dissemination regarding pandemic responses. Additionally, involvement with the Harvard Undergraduate Council as an elected representative demonstrates commitment to community engagement and student advocacy. Educational credentials include dual Bachelor's degrees in Government and African & African American Studies from Harvard University, completed in May 2023.
