Julie Fletcher

Julie Fletcher, SNS, serves as the Executive Director for School and Community Meal Programs at the State of Maryland since November 2022. Previously, Julie owned School Nutrition Services LLC from July to November 2022 and was the Director for the Dallas Independent School District from December 2015 to June 2022, overseeing menus, procurement, and community relations. Julie held the position of Child Nutrition Coordinator at Region 7 Education Service Center from September 2013 to December 2015, providing training and assistance to over 100 schools. Earlier experience includes serving as Nutrition Director at Rockwall ISD, managing federal meal programs and a staff of 150, and as a Child Nutrition Specialist at Region 10 ESC. Julie began their career as Nutrition Director at Greenville ISD. Julie obtained a degree in Business and Mass Communication/Media Studies from The University of Georgia.
