Michael A.

Michael A. started working as a Team Lead for Global Solutions Architect - Public Cloud AWS at the State of Maryland in July 2022. Prior to that, they were a Cloud Architect at the State of Maryland from April 2022 to July 2022. Before joining the State of Maryland, Michael A. worked as a Senior System Software Engineer at ATS. from November 2019 to April 2022. Their earliest work experience was as a Team Lead at Biotech from January 2011 to November 2019.

Michael A. holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Maryland Global Campus. In addition to their formal education, Michael has obtained various certifications, including participation in multiple immersion days organized by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in areas such as Amazon RDS for SQL Server, AWS Edge Services, AWS Serverless, and Security and Compliance. Michael has also achieved different levels in the AWS Builders Quest program, including Silver and Bronze levels. Furthermore, Michael has participated in a Cohesity AWS Solutions-Focused Immersion focused on BaaS (Backup as a Service).
