Jayné J. Johnson

Jayne Johnson currently serves as the Director of the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging for the State of New Jersey, a role held since September 2021. Prior to this position, Jayne worked as an Attorney for Nonprofit Legal and Policy Advocacy from October 2017 to September 2021, contributing to organizations such as The Council of State Governments Justice Center, New Jersey Institute for Social Justice, and Legal Services of New Jersey. From January 2013 to October 2017, Jayne was Counsel for the State of New Jersey Law Revision Commission. Jayne holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from The George Washington University Law School, a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Rutgers Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Oakwood University.
