John Alexy

John Alexy, CPA, currently serves as the Director for the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs - Office of Auditing, where responsibilities include examining and evaluating departmental activities for the Commissioners Office since June 2015. Additionally, John is the Owner and Consultant at JAA Consulting, LLC, providing accounting, finance, and operations consulting to high net-worth individuals and small to mid-sized companies since 2010. Previously, John held positions as a Senior Tax Auditor for the State of Florida, where audit compliance for out-of-state companies was a primary focus, and as Vice President of Finance & Administration at Denville Scientific, overseeing various operational functions. Early career experience includes serving as Division CFO at Bell Microproducts, managing finance and strategic planning for a significant division, and as Controller/VP/CFO at Total Tec Systems, Inc., where John contributed to the growth of the company. John holds an MBA in Accounting/Finance and a BA in Economics from Rutgers University.
