Barry Hazelwood

Barry Hazelwood has extensive experience in asset protection and loss prevention, currently serving as an Officer for The State of New York since December 2016. Previously, Barry held roles as an Asset Protection Investigator at Lord & Taylor, where responsibilities included recovering stolen merchandise, investigating criminal violations, and developing a Shortage Awareness Program. Barry also worked at The TJX Companies, Inc. as an ORC Detective and Loss Prevention Detective, focusing on high-level fraud investigations and conducting surveillance to reduce losses. Earlier in the career at Toys"R"Us, Barry supervised asset protection teams and educated staff on theft prevention techniques. Barry holds an Associate's degree in Computer Science from CUNY Bronx Community College, obtained between 2011 and 2019.
