Gabe Maestas

Gabe Maestas is a Program Analyst at the State of Oregon since June 2021, serving as Acting Senior Policy Advisor to the Agency Director, focusing on housing and homelessness issues for Oregon's veterans. Previously, Gabe worked as a Program Coordinator for the City of Salem from August 2018 to June 2021, where responsibilities included case management for diverse program participants and establishing partnerships with community organizations. Earlier experience includes managing the volunteer program at Portland Rescue Mission, where Gabe oversaw multiple locations and collaborated with executive leadership. Gabe also held roles in administrative support at Portland Rescue Mission and event order management at InterCall. Gabe holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Photography & Design from The Art Institute of Portland.
