Michelle Mhoon

Michelle Mhoon is an experienced legal and policy professional currently serving as the Chief of Staff and Policy Director for Representative Kevin Mannix in the State of Oregon since January 2023. Prior to this role, Michelle worked as the Community Projects Director at Mannix Law Firm from October 2020 to January 2023. Earlier in the career, Michelle held the position of Administrative Law Judge at the Public Utility Commission of Oregon and served as a Legal Research and Writing Professor and Director of Certificate Programs at Willamette University College of Law, where also assisted the Executive Director of the Oregon Law Commission. Additional experience includes corporate law roles at Kutak Rock and The Rose Law Firm. Michelle earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence (summa cum laude) and a Master of Management (with honors) from Willamette University and a Bachelor of Arts (summa cum laude) in Political Science and Economics from Linfield University.
