Sherri Yoakum

Sherri Yoakum is an experienced professional in information security and public service, currently serving as the Business Security Advisor Manager for the State of Oregon since December 2022. Previously, Sherri was the Business Information Security Officer and team lead at the Oregon Department of Administrative Services from June 2018 to June 2023. Earlier experience includes roles as the Information Exchange Coordinator at the Oregon Health Authority and various positions within the Oregon Department of Human Services, including Complaint Coordinator, Ombudsperson, and Child Protective Specialist. Sherri's career began with the Oregon State Police, where responsibilities included State Trooper and Criminal Records Specialist. Sherri holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Western Oregon University.
