Michelle Woodhouse has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Currently, they serve as a Chief Design Strategist at Bayside Engineering Construction Inc. and as a Designer-in-Residence at UC San Diego Design Lab. Michelle is also a Board Member at the La Jolla Art & Wine Festival. Previously, Michelle held leadership positions at Torrey Pines Elementary School Foundation and Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women, where they served as VP Academic Affairs and Director Alumnae, respectively. Michelle also had roles at State of Place as a Chief Design Officer and Strategic Business Development Consultant. Additionally, Michelle has been involved with organizations such as MDDW, The Design Academy, Inc, UC Del Sol Girls Fastpitch Softball, and Bridge to Turkiye Fund.
Michelle Woodhouse has a Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from UC Irvine, which they obtained from 2001 to 2004. Prior to their Masters Degree, they earned a BA in Environmental Analysis & Design from UC Irvine from 1997 to 2001. Michelle also holds a High School Diploma from Woodbridge High School, which they received in 1997. Additionally, they have a certification in Leadership Development from the ILM, although the specific month and year of obtaining the certification is not provided.
