Steve Mezger is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in project management and structural evaluation. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at the Office of the State Engineer for the State of South Dakota since January 2021, Steve previously held the position of Project Engineer at the same office from November 2016 to January 2021. Prior to this, Steve worked as a Safety Representative at Braun Intertec Corporation and held various roles in non-destructive testing and geotechnical engineering. Steve's background also includes experience in audio engineering, having worked in various technical capacities aboard cruise ships and independently. Steve holds a Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering from South Dakota Mines and a Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering from DePaul University.
