Austin Preston

Austin Preston is an experienced financial manager with a strong background in accounting and fiscal operations. Currently, Austin serves as a Financial Manager I for the State of Utah, overseeing accounting and budget activities, as well as managing federal grant program forecasts. Prior experiences include serving as Fiscal Manager for the Southeastern Utah Association of Local Governments and Regional Director for Small Business Development Center at Utah State University, where Austin provided business coaching and training to entrepreneurs. Austin’s earlier roles include Chief Operating Officer for Ward Landscapes Inc., Adjunct Professor of Business at Utah State University, and various accounting and administrative positions at Utah State University and the State of Utah. Austin holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Utah State University.
