Allyson Brooks Mpa

Allyson Brooks, Ph.D., MPA, serves as a Trustee at The Evergreen State College, focusing on higher education budget, finance, strategic planning, and legislative relations since February 2022. Concurrently, Allyson holds the position of State Historic Preservation Officer and Executive Director for the State of Washington since January 1999, providing expert advice on cultural resources and liaising with various stakeholders including tribal representatives and government officials. Past roles include instructing at the National Preservation Institute and serving as a historian and archaeologist for transportation projects in Minnesota and South Dakota. Allyson's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Nevada, Reno, an MPA from the University of Washington, and a range of certificates, including one in Jewish Leadership.
