Jack Melvin is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in judicial, military, and civil law. Elected as the Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge in April 2020, Jack Melvin handles a diverse range of criminal cases. Prior to this judicial role, Jack served as a staff attorney at the Wisconsin Labor and Industry Review Commission and held leadership positions overseeing gambling regulation in Wisconsin. Additionally, Jack Melvin has been active in the Wisconsin Army National Guard as Command Judge Advocate since December 2004, where leadership involves defending military personnel in legal matters. Previous experience includes managing liability claims and subrogation efforts at QBE North America, serving as Brigade Judge Advocate for a U.S. Army unit, and working as a civil litigator. Jack Melvin also contributed to public service as Milwaukee County Elections Commissioner. Educational qualifications include a JD from Marquette University Law School and a BS in Political Science and History from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
