Murad Hasanli

Murad Hasanli is a Senior Investment Analyst at the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) since March 2023, focusing on the evaluation and assessment of investment projects and capital expenditures. Previously, Murad served as Project and Finance Manager at AfeaGroup, overseeing financial operations and project profitability from October 2020 to February 2023. Murad held roles as Senior Reporting Specialist at PASHA Development LLC and Senior Internal Auditor at Gilan Holding, where responsibilities included audit planning, leading audit projects, and compliance audits. Prior experience includes working as an Assurance Senior and Assurance Staff at EY, contributing to major audit projects and financial statement preparation. Murad holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Finance from the University of Adelaide and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Azerbaijan State University of Economics, along with a short-term course in Accounting and Valuation from Charles University.
