Nariman Akbarov

Nariman Akbarov currently serves as the Director of the Quality Assurance and Quality Control Department at the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), a position held since September 2020, after previously being the Deputy Director in the same department. Prior experience includes roles as Project Manager at SUEZ, Operations Supervisor at SOCAR Polymer, Project Quality Control Manager at Azersu OJSC, and Operations Supervisor and Quality Control Engineer at Azersun Holding. Nariman is currently pursuing dual Executive MBA degrees in General Management from the University of York and Business Management from the University of Strasbourg, having previously obtained a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy.
