Rashad Asgarov

Rashad Asgarov currently serves as the Head of the Transport Services Management Department at the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) since November 2023. Previously, Rashad held positions including CEO of Complex Drilling Works Trust and Deputy Head of the Department for the Development of Labor Conditions Norms at SOCAR from January 2019 to January 2025. Rashad's earlier roles include Deputy Head of the Accounting Department and Account Specialist at SOCAR Security from March 2006 to October 2014, as well as a focus on optimizing business processes. Rashad's educational background includes an Executive MBA in Business Management from the University of York (September 2024 - October 2026), a Bachelor's degree in Management from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (September 2021 - April 2024), a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Azerbaijan State University of Economics (2005 - 2007), and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the Azerbaijan Agricultural Academy (2000 - 2005).
