Patrick Seals has extensive experience in the field of information technology, holding various leadership roles in prominent organizations. Patrick is currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at the Alabama Port Authority. Prior to this, they served as the Interim Chief Information Officer at LUFKIN INDUSTRIES, where they were responsible for implementing primary ERP systems and core business systems. In their role at Callon Petroleum Company, they led all IT functions and implemented new processes to enhance the rollout of enterprise systems. As the VP Information Technology/CIO at Breitburn Energy, they played a key role in defining and revamping IT strategy. At LINN Energy, they held multiple roles, including Vice President of Information Technology Services, Director of Information Technology and Integration, and Director of Integration and Controls. Their accomplishments include successfully leading integration projects, managing geographically dispersed IT resources, and driving innovation and automation.

Patrick Seals completed their Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Oklahoma State University from 1982 to 1985. In 2019, they also attended Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business for a program focusing on Essentials of Leadership.

Alabama State Port Authority

The Alabama State Port Authority owns and operates the public, deep-water port facilities at the Port of Mobile handling over 25 million tons of cargo annually. The Authority’s container, general cargo, heavy lift and bulk terminals have immediate and unencumbered access to two interstate systems, five Class 1 railroads, and nearly 15,000 miles of inland waterway connections.
