Phillip Draughter, Jr. has extensive experience in operations and industrial maintenance, currently serving as the Manager of Theodore Operations at the Alabama State Port Authority since April 2005. Prior to this role, Phillip has worked as an Industrial Maintenance Specialist across multiple companies starting in January 1985. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Education in Educational/Instructional Technology from Athens State University, an Associate's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bishop, and further studies at the University of South Alabama.

The Alabama State Port Authority owns and operates the public, deep-water port facilities at the Port of Mobile handling over 25 million tons of cargo annually. The Authority’s container, general cargo, heavy lift and bulk terminals have immediate and unencumbered access to two interstate systems, five Class 1 railroads, and nearly 15,000 miles of inland waterway connections.
