Thomas Kerr

Thomas Kerr has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, with expertise in service delivery management, SAN/storage engineering, and backup administration. Thomas currently holds the position of Service Delivery Management Vice President at State Street Bank & Trust Co., where they oversee and directs SAN/storage managed services. Prior to this role, Thomas worked at Staples as a SAN/storage engineer, providing support for eCommerce and VMWare environments. Thomas also led storage migration projects involving multiple arrays and hosts. Before joining Staples, Thomas worked at Fidelity Investments, where they worked as a storage administrator, managing various storage environments and providing consultation on disk and backup requirements. Additionally, they served as a backup administrator for Fidelity Employment Services Company, upgrading backup systems and implementing tape and disk SAN environments.

Thomas Kerr obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from UMass Boston between the years 1978 and 1984. Following this, they pursued a Masters Certificate in the Computer Career Program at Boston University from 1996 to 1998.
