Alejandro Gaba

Alejandro Gaba is a highly experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Research and Senior Managing Director of Systematic Equity at State Street Global Advisors since June 2015, where responsibilities include leading the research agenda for a range of systematic equity solutions. Previously, Alejandro held several roles at State Street Global Advisors, including Chair of the Technical Committee and Managing Director positions in quantitative equity. Earlier experience includes a quantitative analyst position at Moody's Investors Service in 2005. Alejandro's educational background features advanced degrees in finance, applied economics, and astrophysics from the University of Rochester and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, along with a Bachelor of Science in Physics from McGill University.
