Ramu Thiagarajan

Ramu Thiagarajan serves as the EVP - Head of Thought Leadership at State Street since September 2021, where responsibilities include leading a cohesive Thought Leadership agenda and supporting executive platforms while representing the firm at client and regulatory meetings. Previously, Ramu held significant roles in investment management, including Senior Managing Director at State Street Global Advisors, Senior Vice President at AllianceBernstein, and Managing Director at Deutsche Bank, where leadership in quantitative and fixed income strategies was a focus. Ramu’s academic contributions include serving as an Adjunct Professor of Finance at Tulane University and Assistant Professor at Kellogg School of Management, alongside a robust educational background with a PhD in Accounting and Finance from the University of Florida.
