Des Lawrence

Des Lawrence is a seasoned financial professional, having begun their career as an Investment Manager at BV Financial Ireland from 1994 to 1999, where they managed global bond funds for insurance clients. They then moved on to Oppenheim Investment Managers, serving from 2000 to 2007, overseeing sovereign and corporate bond portfolios for leading insurance and reinsurance companies. Since 2007, Des has held the position of Senior Investment Strategist at State Street Global Advisors Ireland, where they focus on creating strategic investment mixes for various clients and developing tailored investment solutions. Des earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Limerick between 1987 and 1991.
