Des Murphy

Des Murphy is a Senior Vulnerability Management Analyst, VP at State Street, where they focus on vulnerability management. Previously, they held various roles within the Defence Forces of Ireland, including Soldier and Corporal, and worked as a Cyber Security Analyst and Cyber Defence Center Manager at State Street. Des also has experience as a Non-Commissioned Officer for the United Nations in Lebanon. They earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology with Distinction from the Institute of Technology, Carlow, and a Postgraduate degree in Cybersecurity with First-Class Honours from Letterkenny Institute of Technology. Currently, Des is pursuing a National Certificate in Exercise and Fitness at the University of Limerick.
