Ramkumar Menon

Ramkumar Menon has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Ramkumar currently serves as the Managing Director and Head of Audit at State Street, where they strategically design and executes the APAC Internal Audit Plan, ensuring seamless operations and compliance in the Asia-Pacific region. Ramkumar is also pioneering the establishment of Internal Audit hubs in Poland and China and effectively engages with regulatory bodies. Prior to this, Ramkumar held the position of Vice President - Head of Internal Audit at AIG, where they led transformative initiatives to enhance the efficiency of the internal audit department and achieved cost reductions and operational efficiencies across AIG processes through significant process re-engineering. Before their role at AIG, they contributed significantly to enhancing risk management, control, and governance systems as the Associate Director - Internal Audit at Allianz Insurance. Ramkumar began their career at KPMG as an Internal Audit Manager and later worked as an Assurance Senior at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Ramkumar started their professional journey as an Article Clerk at Varma & Varma, Chartered Accountants.

Ramkumar Menon completed their Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Calicut from the years 1994 to 1999. After that, they pursued a Chartered Accountant degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 1999 to 2002, specializing in Finance, Audit, Corporate Finance, and Taxation.
