Daniel Lipson

Daniel Lipson is an accomplished academic with a strong background in political science. Currently, Daniel serves as an Associate Professor at SUNY New Paltz since August 2008, following a tenure as an Assistant Professor at Kalamazoo College from August 2002 to June 2008, where Daniel was granted tenure and promotion to Associate Professor in March 2008. Daniel holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, completed in 2002 and 1996 respectively, and a B.A. in Sociology from Cornell University, earned in 1993. The decision to relocate to SUNY New Paltz was motivated by a desire to be closer to family in upstate New York.
